Living up its reputation for cutting edge, non-conforming musical compositions, comes Nite Grooves! Since its inception in 1994, the stepchild of its parent label has seen much success with releases produced by Phillip Damien, Cevin Fisher, Louie Vega and Kenny Dope (MAW), Lenny Fontana, DJ Pierre, Ron Trent, Jaymz Nylon, Ralphi Rosario, Kerri Chandler, Roy Davis, Jr., and the list goes on and on…

Nite Grooves dips into the same well-spring of talent, but appeals to a different audience that craves more underground tracks. “The label along with sister imprint Nite Grooves has been among the world’s leaders in supplying deeper-than-deep beats to DJs and music fans since ‘93” (Bruce Tantum, Clubs Editor, Time Out NY, Oct. 2002).

In the year 2000, Nite Grooves witnessed its most successful release to date. The acclaimed “Release” album by Ananda Project has demonstrated new directions in dance music craft. It is the same vein as the aforementioned artists that we intend to explore (and expose) the homebred talent that surrounds us, as well as searching for fresh talent around the globe.

Another Nite Grooves track, released in 2005, was “Bar A Thym”, by legendary producer/DJ, KERRI CHANDLER. “Bar A Thym”, found its way in major international DJ sets as well as being included on compilations from ‘Mixwell Avenue vol.
