Mathbat has been quietly releasing free electronic musick and video experiments since 1995, dabbling in moist electronic funk, eerie lo-fi soundtracks, and sentimental apocalyptic balladry. Mathbat is a loosely affiliated of crew of ranting vampires, demented lab assistants, and rapping farm squids. Mathbat Records includes one or more of the following “bands:” Mathbat, Philosopede, Batfist, Crepusculous, and MemCon (aka Membrane Conspiracy, Membrane Codex, Memory Corpuscle, Membranous Conglomerulonephritis, etc.), and are frequently accompanied by art and animation by Sean Hopp.
