Lunch Records, a Boston based DIY renegade indie label record label was started in the 1995 by Orbit drummer, Paul Buckley.

Initially just releasing 7” vinyl singles, Lunch went on to release full length CDs and quickly became the launching pad for a stable of Boston rock outfits such as Orbit, The Shods, Helicopter Helicopter, Bleu, Vic Firecracker, Well, Jed Parish.

The label continued in the new century with several releases by Dear Leader (featuring Aaron Perrino of The Sheila Divine) and Taxpayer.

Throughout the years, the label also released one-off projects by Production Club, The Coronet Premiers, John Doe (of X fame), and The Bon Savants participating in label’s 4X4 series, which features 4 songs from 4 bands.
