Lovely Records was started up by Hellsongs in 2005 since the band wanted to have control over their own releases. Since then the label has released all Hellsongs albums from the first ep, Lounge, to the latest release Minor Misdemeanors (2010). The albums has been licensed to different labels world wide (GAS, BeNeLux, UK, France, Spain, Italy, Russia, the Ukraine, Canada and the US) and given Hellsongs a steady following through the years.

The label has also started to work as an artistic collective, releasing material from friends of the band, such as Von Thord (Woodbeat, 2009) and Before you Die (Spastic Dance, 2009) and former lead singer Harriet Ohlssons new outfit, Oh Harry (Arena Rock 2010).
