Next year we celebrate 100 releases as Sweden's and the world's finest purveyor of pop music. This, of course, will be marked by something equally grand: an ambitious 4 CD set containing one song from every release from LAB001 onwards through never released records by Jacqueline and Los Fancy Free, via early rare out-of-print records and the digital only We made the team by The Radio Dept. to an incredible hit parade from the usual suspects.

Intended as the your only desert island record, it also sports qualitative reading in the form of a heavy booklet filled with an in-depth interview with the five Labradors by Guardian journalist Jude Rogers (who, by coincidence, called Labrador “Sweden’s most influential record label in a Guardian article), song-by-song commentary on all 100 songs, tons of Labrador related top 5 lists by Labrador artists and more.

Good music will never be boxed better.
