Kuckuck Schallplatten is a German record label founded in August 1969 by Eckart Rahn, Mal Sondock and the advertising agency ConceptData in Munich, growing out of his music publishing company E.R.P. Musikverlag which was founded on April 1, 1968 and distributed by Deutsche Grammophon. It was the first German progressive rock-label and is today the longest-surviving independent label in Germany. Signings included Ihre Kinder, Out of Focus, Deuter, Murphy Blend, CWT, Sonny Hennig, Ernst Schultz, Armageddon, Hanuman, Lied des Teufels, Jack Grunsky, Antiteater (Peer Raben, Rainer Werner Fassbinder), Keith West, Eberhard Schoener, Hans Otte, Terry Riley, Peter Michael Hamel
