ISIGTUTEOT is a community record label managed (occasionally!) by Tom Roberts. It was devised in 2006 during a music project called War & Peace which was undertaken by an international group of music producers via the Discogs Music Production Forum. It was then decided to release the independent Chinese Whispers project which was just drawing to a close at around that time.

We now have quite a large international group of producers who contribute to the various projects we concoct.

“ISIGTUTEOT” stands for “In Short it’s Gone Tits Up This End of Things” and came from a forum post by Tsunto (aka SoHauntMe) re: his War & Peace track. We were looking for a name at that time and it fit the bill perfectly. Now you know!
