Ishq is made up of 2 members , Matthew Hillier and Jacqueline Kersley .The main composer is Matthew Hillier and Jacqueline Kersley mainly does vocal work and vocal treatments on much of their early work although she is responsable for some programming and other input into works from 2009 onwards.Ishq are based in st ives cornwall and close to an area well known for its school of painters and sculptors and Ishq regard themselves as part of that art school , Jacquleine kersley is also a potter and Matthew Hillier works aswell in other formats of medium including sculpture and montage . There musical works as Ishq and Virtual are greatly inspired by the works of St ives artists like Barbara Hepwroth , Terry Frost and Naum Gabo .Ishq run their own record label called Virtual and produce and release their work mainly themselves now in limited form on cd and other media.
