Hard Kryptic Records is a hard dance label based in both New York and Washington D.C. and was formed by US producers/DJs Howard Grene (How Hard) and Jimmy Navarro (Jimmy X/Da X). Its initial focus was Hardcore Techno, though has branched off into other areas including industrial, hardstyle, hard house, jumpstyle, techno, and drum & bass.

As of early 2009, Hard Kryptic Records has partnered with Israel based label Dark Like Hell making DLH a sublabel and in 2011 included both Baltimore based GV Records and Netherlands based Disclosure Records also to its label roster.

Hard Kryptic Records is overseen by its music publishing parent company Hard X Music, Inc. which supervises a lot of the music and writers featured on HKR and sublabel Dark Like Hell’s recordings.
