Fake Four Inc. is a record label started in New Haven, CT by brothers David and Ceschi Ramos in May 2008. Fake Four embraces diversity in music yet also maintains a firm allegiance to the Anonymous Inc. family and friends - a group of musicians who have collaborated and recorded with each other since the mid-1990s. The music released on Fake Four generally falls under the categories of avant indie rock/pop/folk and left field hip hop. Fake Four has almost foolish adoration for the full length album, DIY touring and hard copies of music. Fake Four artists have placed high on both CMJ Top 200 and CMJ Hip Hop charts, they have toured the world, and have been recognized by countless publications. In the summer of 2009 Fake Four signed an exclusive deal with Redeye Distribution to distribute all of their physical and digital music.
