When the going got tuff for the music industry a lot of other record labels either decided called it a day, or to conform their music to the latest fad that was more commercial and easier for the distribution companies to sell, whilst Evasive always stayed true to its roots and continued to release quality underground music, refusing to jump on the bandwagon or pander to the suits by watering down its forward thinking sound.
Signing some of the finest output from established producers as well as nurturing and creating an outlet for fresh up and coming talent has kept the label one step ahead of the competition. Ever evolving and tipping a wink to the changing sounds of electronic dance music along the way, whilst it’s original ethos always remained; true house music, no boundaries, and no egos, not in any way elitist but welcoming for everybody and anybody that would appreciate it!
