Elwood - the band and electronic project from St.-Petersburg, Russia.
EW was founded by Ilya Sakmarov, songwriter and composer (lyrics, guitars, flute, vocal, keyboard) in 2000.
In 2000 - 2002 EW functioned as electronic project, and in 2002 became a “live” band with classic set of guitars, drums and percussion (later - keyboards).
Since than EW made several releases and changed different styles.

As a result - EW’s style can be called a mixture of dub, trance, trip-hop, latino and rock-music.
Avarage age of EW’s members is 21 and by 2006 the band performed in major clubs of Saint-Petersburg.
Besides, EW musicians take mart in different side-projects and help friendly bands and artists in performances and studio work.
