ENEMIES LIST HOME RECORDINGS is a small independent label out of Middletown, CT.

It exists primarily to record and release the works of DAN BARRETT and TIM MACUGA (of Giles Corey, Have A Nice Life, and Nahvalr, etc), but also collaborates with other artists.

In 2008 the label released it’s first serious recording, Have A Nice Life’s Deathconsciousness (EL01), in an extremely limited run of only 100 copies. It sold out in a little under a month, and a second printing was issued in early March. The record was accompanied by a 75-page text in lieu of liner notes.

Deathconsciousness was re-pressed several times for a total run of 700 before being discontinued and re-released in digital format.

The label released open-source black metal project Nahvalr’s self-titled debut (EL02) in early September of 2008. Submissions from all over the world were submitted, then altered, distorted, and chopped to create a uniquely dense and atmospheric sound. It was released in a run of 300 digipaks with small booklet. The first 100 copies also featured the ENEMIES LIST PHILOSOPHER’S KIT #1, a series of limited-edition buttons (one for HAVE A NICE LIFE, one for NAHVALR, one of ADAM SMITH, one of ALISTEIR CROWLEY, one of the label logo, and one for CTKVLT).

EL03 was the debut of Afterlives, William Barrett’s sometimes dreamy, sometimes chaotic solo project. Entitled “A Ticking Clock I Couldn’t Stop”, it was originally pressed in a short run of 150 copies.
