JONAS BROTHERS
SET TO RELEASE A LITTLE BIT LONGER OCTOBER 11;
FOLLOW UP TO U.S. PLATINUM SELLING JONAS BROTHERS CD
AND METEORIC RISE TO POP CULTURE PHENOMENON

Jonas Brothers’ highly anticipated new album A Little Bit Longer will hit stores in Australia on October 11, following its #1 U.S. chart debut, and will include two bonus tracks only available on the Australian version of the album – “Live to Party” and “Hello Goodbye”.

During the week of album release in the U.S., Jonas Brothers also created chart history by being the first artist to hold three titles in the top ten. In addition to A Little Bit Longer, also in the chart was the soundtrack to Camp Rock featuring Jonas Brothers at # 8 and Jonas Brothers’ eponymous CD at # 10.

A Little Bit Longer is the follow up to the U.S. platinum selling Jonas Brothers which debuted at # 5 on Billboard’s Top 200 last year on Disney’s Hollywood Records. Jonas Brothers have spent the last year and a half working tirelessly, creating a tsunami-sized swell that prompted Oprah Winfrey to compare the mania of the Jonas Brothers to that of the Beatles (April 24, 2008 episode).

The first single from A Little Bit Longer is “Burnin’ Up” – to be released September 6 - and the video is an action packed James Bond-esque adventure. “Burning Up” is also the name of Jonas Brothers’ headline U.S. arena tour which sold out in record time and included two shows at the venerable Madison Square Garden in New York.

Jonas Brothers recorded much of A Little Bit Longer while on tour in a specially outfitted Gibson tour bus. John Fields returns as executive producer of their new CD. Tracks on the album have already proven to be live favourites including “BURNIN’ UP”, “A Little Bit Longer” and “Pushin’ Me Away.” “Burnin’ Up” is a funky, rhythmic dance and guitar driven number, while “Little Bit Longer” is a poignant account of Nick Jonas’ life as a diabetic, and “Pushin’ Me Away” is pure Jonas-emo. The band’s song writing on the new album shows their musical growth and depth like never before.

Leading up to the release of the new CD, Jonas Brothers are also being seen in their Disney Channel reality series “Jonas Brothers, Living the Dream”, and their made for Disney Channel movie “Camp Rock” (co-starring tour special guest Demi Lovato).
