Dead Phish Records Indie Label
Indie means Independent translation “not a major-label”
1 of the most common & simplest definitions of “indie” is by definition Independent and not connected w/ a major recording label (currently one of the “Big Four” recording companies: Warner, Universal, Sony BMG and EMI). This is the definition used by NME’s indie music charts in the UK, among others.
Concept of Dead Phish Records Indie Label is to put the music first once and for all & the image second where it belongs. Harsh, Live, Intense & driven. This is done in combination with online promotion & physical promotion for the band & business involved. It’s almost time to start everything all over again like the punk revolution of the late 70’s followed by post punk and new age of the 80’s. Independent music is the last frontier where a band can truly control it’s own destiny.
Bands that would fit into the Dead Phish Family would be in several different genre’s under the Main Genre rock - Punk, Post Punk, Goth, Gothic, SynthPop, Industrial and a mixture or combination there of.
