Daybox Records (DBR) is an independent label from Salerno in the south of Italy, operating throughout Italy since 2003. Originally conceived for the production of experimental instrumental music, since 2007 DBR has taken a growing interest in independent music and song production. As of 2008 DBR has established a bilateral collaboration with the IMIsound community (Independent Musicians from Italy) for the selection and promotion of independent Italian artists:
DBR is divided into several production lines:
ACADEMY
(acoustic/soundscape/nu-classical)

(pop/rock/mainstream)
IRON
(hard-rock/metal/gothic)
JAZZ
(jazz/blues/fusion)

(electronica/experimental/improvisation)

(indie/alternative/crossover)

(world/folk/minstrel)
DBR has collaborated with the “Rocco Scotellaro Ribellarsi si può” association in the organization and the jury for the “Prove di ROCK” 2007 e 2008: music competition for emerging bands and part of the MEI-FEST.
DBR has collaborated with and/or makes use of the following recording studios:
* STUDIO LAG @ CAVA DEI TIRRENI (SA)
* MONOCHROME SOUNDS & VISIONS @ EBOLI (SA)
Daybox Records’ programme for 2008 includes the production of a compilation album entitled “Good Music Can Damage Your Health” featuring tracks from selected bands (MEI 2007, PROVE DI ROCK, IMISOUND) and the prduction of one or two individual bands. The artists with whom the label is in contact for future productions in this period are:
