Datawaslost began in Cincinnati in 2000 as a record label / art collective, with a focus on home-recorded material released in small, handmade batches. While they’ve expanded beyond their original goals and locale, they continue to put out a steady stream of home-recorded records that run the gamut from indie folk to electronic noise. Currently, the label is run out of Chicago, with its artists touring and distributed throughout the US & Canada.

Recent releases include Coltrane Motion, The Minor Leagues, The Most Powerful Telescope In The Universe and Tristen Shields, and their compilations have featured artists like Looper, Saturday Looks Good to Me, Bishop Allen, Tullycraft, & The Minders.
