Corruption NI was formed by General Malfunction of Scrooge Flu in 2010 as he realised that around the area of Antrim, Northern Ireland a lot of music was being produced with nobody around to hear it. With the creation of Corruption NI on Last.FM, GM felt that with free downloads and promotion work for the bands that they would gain an audience, and hopefully popularity.
The initial band coming from Corruption NI was Scrooge Flu, a band first published to Last.fm in March 2009.
