Clown Records was set-up in the beginning of 1998. It’s first release was by solo artist Adam, which he released three albums. In 2002 the record company wanted to expand it’s roster of acts and signed hard rock band A:M Lovers in 2003, and the following year in 2004, Russian band Plastica and later on in 2004 German band, Dashboard Madonna completed the trio of music acts on Clown Records.

The next couple of years it was a hectic time at Clown Records helping to promote and manage there new music acts.
All three bands played in and around London, while Dashboard Madonna played in there home city of Hamburg, Germany.
So far all of these music bands are no longer signed to Clown Records, but in 2008 another artist was signed-up to Clown Records DJ Fruitz who is currently working on material to be released early next year in 2009. Adam is also working on new material, which will be released in 2009.
