Brigadier Records are based in Medway and London in the United Kingdom formed in April 2007. The label is distributed digitally by Nova and physically by Universal. Artists currently on the roster are Brigadier Ambrose and Stuart Turner.

The label was initially set up by the band Brigadier Ambrose to independently release ‘How Popular You Are’ and ending up following this up through 2007/8 with further single releases. More recently, the label released Brigadier Ambrose’s debut album ‘Fuzzo’ to widespread critical acclaim in February 2010, with generous exposure through BBC Radio One, Two, 6Music and Radio Kent. The album was in the Mercury Music Prize longlist for 2010.

Brigadier Records signed art-blueser Stuart Turner and his band The Flat Earth Society in May 2010 to release their album ‘Gin & Bitters’ and will release a single by the band later in the year.
