Brainlove Records is an independent organisation releasing exciting and creative new music.

The philosophy of the label is to support musicians exhibiting creativity, spirit, intelligence and imagination, regardless of genre, commercial potential, or technical ability. As such, Brainlove is a record label with artistic values at it’s core.

Brainlove works in a holistic way to offer help with development, management, booking, recording, promotion and whatever kind of support our bands require.

Brainlove also acts as an umbrella organisation, meeting point and online community for creators and fans of genre-bending new music.

Brainlove has also helped book and promote Woolfire Festival, and run parties and live music events with White Heat, Club NME, La Route Du Rock and many more. Brainlove runs the eponymous monthly Brainlove Club and the annual Brainlove Festival, held at Brixton Windmill. Brainlove also ran a label party at Iceland Airwaves 2009 in Reykjavik.

The label is currently working with Napoleon IIIrd, Bleeding Heart Narrative, Bastardgeist, Sacred Harp, Pagan Wanderer Lu, Kippi Kaninus, We Aeronauts and Mat Riviere.

There are 7” singles still available by artists such as Planningtorock, Tim Ten Yen, Applicants and Modernaire, and digital singles and compilation releases that include tracks by bands such as Bearsuit, Stairs To Korea, Cats In Paris, Capitol K, Retro Spankees, Misty’s Big Adventure, Pram, Jam On Bread and lots more. The label has also released albums by Applicants and Keyboard Choir.
