Radiohead vs. NIN
HALO33 - The Story So Far
Halo33 is Barrett Hiatt. This project is mostly an outlet for his Nine Inch Nails remixes, but has branched out into original music. He is currently a member of the band revel hotel, from Brooklyn, New York.
Halo33 was created on April 15, 2005, when Trent Reznor decided to allow fans to remix source material. Barrett became increasingly addicted to making music on the computer, and started making numerous versions of many different pieces. On September 26, 2008, he released his first official remix, Eyes Like Planets (Halo33 Remix) for NY based Bell Hollow.
The desire to take a song and completely change the mood and give people an alternate impression, has had many different artists wanting him to remix their material.
He was the drummer for the NY based indie rock band His Mighty Robot from 2003-2006 and is now currently working on a variety of other collaborations, along with Revel Hotel.
Barrett lives on long island. his car is red. he likes nine inch nails a lot. the job that Barrett does involves buttons.
On a good day, Barrett will eat a burrito. on a bad day he may not. he plays drums in revel hotel with johnny and frank. and no, they are not mobsters. Barrett also does lots of remixing. sometimes for NIN, sometimes for himself, and recently, for bell hollow.
This is a ‘coming soon’ kind of webpage. so be sure to not take it seriously. unless you are a serious person, in which case, then go and hang yourself now.
Barrett has a penchant for hats. His favourite films are Star Wars (yes, all of them), LotR, Nightmare Before Christmas, A Clockwork Orange, The Crow, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, Sin City, Beetlejuice, BIg Fish…
