Asian Man Records is a small, DIY record label run by Mike Park out of his parent’s garage in Monte Sereno, California. Mike started putting out records in 1989, but the label wasn’t officially established until May 1996. The label has always been run with a DIY philosophy, having only one or two other employees, two computers, a fax, and a single phone line without call waiting to the label’s name. Part of their goal is to recruit bands that promote peace and unity, while keeping record prices low to the consumer. The label has no plans on expansion.

The label specializes in mostly ska and punk, with occasional feel-good releases in addition.
