Arterija used to be a microlabel that was active from 2005 to 2009 and released limited to 50 copies CD-R editions as well as free net releases mostly from Ukraine and Russia. At the beginning of its creation it was a sublabel of Quasi Pop Records dedicated to experimental electronica until later it gained its independence and started to unfold much more wider spectrum of music.
Some releases were made within so called “Colour Series” project and had different catalogue index. This was a collection of experimental music by 10 various artists from 10 different countries released in 10 cardboard covers in 10 different colours. Unfortunately this project was not finished, only 5 releases were made - from Sweden, Ukraine, Russia, USA and Japan.
Although nothing new will be going on, the website of the label Arterija is still active and most of the back catalogue is available for download.
