The Ankara - Turkey based independent extreme metal label Anger Epidemic Records was established in late 2005 with the aim of introducing solid underground acts to a wider audience both nationally and abroad. During 2006-2007 AER signed Turkey’s most experienced death metal band Suicide and Selftorture, a band that has made a big contribution to their own category. The label will enable national and foreign listeners to obtain bands new upcoming albums in cd format and also through digital distribution. In order to have more national and foriegn media on the shelves in Turkish markets, the company has also started to cooperate with other metal labels and bands. The main goal is to bring these extreme genres, which have been appreciated and listened to by thousands within a 80 million population since the 80’s, to the level it deserves.
