Alien8 Recordings was founded in 1996 by Sean O’Hara and Gary Worsley, under whose operation the label continues to this day. Originally focussing on noise and experimental music, the label has since broadened its scope to include numerous other genres while becoming particularly active in releasing the works of artists based in its home town of Montreal. Partial Roster: Nadja, Aun, Tim Hecker, Duchess Says, Menace Ruine, Zbigniew Karkowski and Daniel Menche.
