The label *Evolution* is strictly related to the band “Evolution”, (called “Evolutions” on last.fm due to omonimy problems).
Evolution born in Bari (South of Italy) after the meeting between the guitarist Antonio Ceci and the drummer, Lorenzo Appice (Genuary 2005). The main idea consisted in founding an Heavy Metal group taking something from the music genres nearest to Heavy Metal (such as trash, prog, power and so on) and with the main task of composing songs characterized by the power of melodies and structures typical of the gratest rock-metal bands of the past on one side (such as Judas Priest … , Whitesnake, Dokken, Iron maiden, and so on), and by the style and creativeness typical of 90’s bands (such as Dream Theater, Symphony X, Angra, Racer X, and so on) on the other side. During the first two years since their birth, the bassist was Roberto Sino, who has been substituted by Claudio Signorile. Their singer has been Ilaria Geniola since Genuary 2007, and she has contributed with the release of the Evolution first CD demo, recorderd by the guitarist Antonio Ceci.
In Genuary 2007 the band has acquired a keyboard player, Domenico Rosito, applying a little directional change toward PROG, even if not sucrificing Evolution’s HEAVY sound and musicality, which are distinguishable Evolution’s marks.
Nowaday the band is searching for a discography trade mark, and is planning concerts all over Italy.
