What's your current position?
MUst get this one!
God Damn, Cannot Extract "The Pitch and Yaw of Satellites" from my head. YMSS was un-rivaled. Absolutely love it.
Does anyone have a download link for 'Let's Get Going... You're Fracturing Me With This Misery'?
Or point me in the direction of obtaining it?
I would be eternally grateful.
great band, deserved better
they went down hill when they changed their name loved the older stuff.
this band has TONS of potential. the only thing that I couldn't get into was the vocals. more practice and you guys will absolutely KILL
I think I still prefer the old stuff over the new album. Both are great though
Likewise Jordie57. I think their two 'eras' should be distinguished.
Anyone can send me "A Little Late He Staggered..." mp3? The CD version, not the live version. Contact with me plz!
would still be cool if the playcounts joined, so please people vote for Youthmovies here =)
I've kept all the old songs as YMSS because its what they're under and what they were called when they released them, and with Sam being a new full member for the album technically they could be a different band and they sound different.
After six years the album has not disappointed. Love this band, but in geeky last.fm terms, do I change all their songs to Youthmovies now? Or keep the old ones as ymss, somebody help!
Jesus Christ these guys are good. There are moments that remind me so much of Mister Metaphor.
i love how the new name isnt in the similar artists. loving the freezing scene from the split ep with ed fitz atm
the album may be out...there
The synth intro is AMAZING. It adds so much more to the boring, bland single version.
THE KEYBOARDS BACK IN TNGIAM!!!!!
I assume this may be old news if people watched the video - i haven't and the myspace rip i have doesn't have the intro
Seconded Daddsy but its still awesome and besides the other new song is epic
I still think the early version of TNGIAM with the synth intro is the best one...it's awesome.
honey slides is amazing
TNGIAM video on YouTube!
There are some new songs on their myspace page + new album coming out in March.
I hope they're not changing their name but it seems like they have
<3 this band.
I want the new album already. D:
JUST HOLD YOUR BREATH LIKE LAZARUS THE SHARK
Hurrah! was sold out when i was at their show, so i picked up Honey Slides (collaboration with Adam Gnade). quite good, but i still want Hurrah! very badly. can't find it.
pm would be very nice :>
@marc_fm: You must have high expectations, as I thought they were good live. I wasn't expecting a 'performance', if you see what I mean, but the atmosphere was great.
It's so wonderful.
nobody seems to mind that they have such similar tags to tortoise
Seen them four times now, their collaboration with Jonquil at Lattitude Festival was awesome really excited about the vinyl release of that. New songs they played at Reading sounded just perfect XD
Nice stuff, but there are better examples ;)
yup, me too! :(
I want the new album already. :<
stuvwxyz, they're going to play at Brudenell Social Club, Leeds on 19th October:D
bullshit! there's no leeds date!
http://www.fiercepanda.co.uk sells hurrah! to the guy who was asking. £7.99 is a bargain for that record, trust me.
it's not going well and it's not going badly...
I love this band.... I'm listening to Hurrah! right now and it is excellent.... why aren't more people listening to them?
bit disappointed, but it'll probably grow on me
this band is awesome
Anyone want to send me 'Lets get going...' or Homeless Music II and III? I would love you if you did. =]
Does anyone have a link to one of their albums? Can't find it in any store or on any site :(
i'm guessing they're now officially called youthmovies? at least that's what drowned in sound says...
this band were awful live, was expecting alot more :(
