Been reading a lot about what exactly happens to Capa at the end: I think he looked into the eye of God. His body was being burned away but his soul lives on without any earthly burdens. Beautiful choice.
Agree. This tune reminds me of early Tangerine Dream. The chosen scenes were excellent. Once in the oxygen processing room and again at the end. Sunshine wasn't a big movie but it was memorable to me and has quietly creeped it's way up my list of favorite 'B' sci-flicks. Too bad the third scene was such a mess but the end sequence kinda makes up for it. In my opinion. The director succeeded in conveying a sense of isolation and desparation. I'll remember this movie as a mellow sci-fi flick thanks to the soundtrack.
I try to imagine for myself YAARK voice on top of that track... To tell the truth... its more funnny, than beautiful ))) But purely music - yes, is perfect... And i watched that movie! YAARK was satisfied - its a not a _science_ fiction, but _атмосферно_, "ambienced".
Eh, you can't say this is better/worse on the album versus used in Sunshine, but it certainly did fit Sunshine perfectly. Now I can't help but think of warm, white room full of amazingly green plants.
Odd that this is now used in Need for Speed: Undercover, but, again, it somehow fits the mood of a lone car sitting in an ethereal garage. Underworld, I'm proud of you for spreading your wings further into films and now into video games!
