There’s a lot that being said about this fabulous group. People said it reminds them of the Smiths, Bloody Valentine and Mary Chain. People are sometimes right. Anova Music will add to this name dropping Tony Wilson’s Factory Records as a darky reference to the mellow sides of the band, and we think that’s about it for the name dropping.
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart had just released a new single titled Belong from the upcoming new album, due to be released in the end of March. We’re psyched about it, and we promise to take a long long look at our shoes during their SXSW 2011 show. Damn, we’d prefer to see the band instead, but you know, we’re committed to the genre.
