  • Mr Robot shout here, brother, amazing song! wish i'd heard it years ago
  • Where are all the Mr Robot shouts? Also, any reason to post this vid here is a great reason: (the JCB cover starts at 3:10)
  • Two years too late to reply to this, but Tuff Turf was so awesome and Spader was a babe back then :)
  • Yes! Yes! Finally!!! :) Tuff Turf, baby! I wanted to be James Spader when I was a kid :)
  • and today on my 66th Birthday,i dedicate this track to those classmates of mine from St. George's School;Newport,RI~class of 1965, who no longer walk this earth road.they were all my friends when they died.i salute you my brothers!
  • seeing Jim and his magnificent band perform this live at San Francisco's MabuhayGardens numerous times 1979-82 was incredibly inspiring. the intensity that he displayed on stage was a thing to behold and long cherish. and now that he has gone, passed on before his time, i am sad but thankful that i was able to experience the great Jim Carroll when his flame burned oh so bright ~ OhYeah

  • Freakin LOVE this song ...
  • unlike any other "happy-song" ever written ....
  • the sweetest song I know!
  • Wow! What a great surprise!
  • like a time machine, this track takes me back to moments at the Mabuhay Gardens, San Francisco's punk palace, circa 1980. members of other locally popular punk bands joined Jim and his great band for a rousing jam session featuring this song. i can still hear the roar of the crowd.....
  • Lay off the Drano; it'll kill you!
  • Although this was the only JCB song to make the charts, check out the entire album. JC is an incredible poet and lyricist. I have seen them live several times over the years and they remain, in my humble opinion, one of the most significant groups of the decade.
