“Baby…did you forget to take your meds?” ~ Meds
How many times have you seen 4 live?

Their songs are sad in a upbeat sort of way so none of them really make me spout water out of the eyes.

“Twenty years, it's breaking you down
now that you understand there's no one around
Take a breath, just take a seat
Lug 11 2007, 19:22 di FreckleduckI have been told that it is normal for people to go through phases, but my phases are not as much a type of music rather than specific songs by specific artists.
This week I have become obsessed with theses songs.
Arch Drive Goodbye By Eve 6- This song appeals to me because it makes me feel less lonely. It could be used as a good breakup song if you were considering going back to whoever you broke up with and knew it was ulitmately a bad idea. Its also a song of finality of some sort.
Here's To The Night By Eve 6- This song makes me think of adventure and reminds that even though we do things that we are not proud of in the end they help to make us who we are. They may not be the smartest decisions, but they help us feel ALIVE.
Here's To The Night Lyrics
Anytime By Eve 6- This song is about forgetting. It makes me think that the world is full of possibilites and that if you care about someone there is always hope they will come back... …

Well, i've spent the last month obsessing about Elliot Minor - i went to see them live in Brighton on the 21st of June (by myself) and i've been watching their various Weblogs on YouTube repeatedly. Hopefully their album will be out this month, though i haven't seen that confirmed anywhere... :S But Jessica is definitely coming out and that'll keep me sane in the mean time. I'm determined not to download any of their music by *wink, wink, nudge, nudge* other means... coz let's face it, since they're not that well known yet, they're gona need all the support they can get... (even if i am a poor student *grumble* :P)
Other stuff... erm, i'm looking out for ANY live event where i can finally see Keane live... might have to be 2008 at this rate... they're only playing one gig that i could possibly get to on the 21st July at the old Millenium Dome. Not possible :(.
Not much else, i'm listening to a bit more of The Fray than i thought i would... …
Mag 15 2007, 18:14 di SolWСегодня купил диск How to Save a Life.
How to Save a Life. Не только музыка, но и тексты притягивают:
«Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life»
Feb 15 2007, 4:54 di NikkuNormally, I hate this holiday with a fiery passion that can only come from the bitterness of being eternally single. But for the second year in a row, I'm pretty content. Dunno why. Considering my normal state of turmoil, I should be miserable today.
So anyway, since I'm in a good mood, I decided to put together a mini Valentine's Playlist.
A Message (sweet love song, and I got the cd last v-day)
Heaven Forbid (this could be the faintest trace of bitterness or it could just be me associating the fray with today for some reason)
I'll Be (is there a better love song? not for me..)
Slide (to me, this song feels like falling in love. real love, not dramatic romance)
I might add more after I watch One Tree Hill. Later, suckers.
Gen 4 2007, 15:22 di swallowyourfearI haven't written a journal in so long, so I decided to make one about lyrics that stand out to me. I know that some people don't like journals that just list things, but I don't feel like taking time to explain... maybe another day.
It's So Simple:
"It's so simple to be afraid, it's so simple when you know who you are."
"We speak in different voices to know they are real."
"Just close your eyes, you'll never see me crashing down."
Follow And Feel:
"There's nothing more left of him now, but he will be okay."
I Never Wanted To:
"We are the only ones we are running from."
"So tell me is it right, to feel like, we're only getting smaller."
You're Not Alone:
"You're not alone, there is more to this I know."
Some Sense Of Security:
"Can we save ourselves from the ones we're becoming?"
"Please monsieur, remember, don't tell me how to get somewhere better."
