Their lowest point was either Push the Button or We Are the Night (which is an amazing lowest point btw). I'm really happy with the path they chose in Further and Born in the Echoes. They kinda reinvented themselves with these two albums
Even with their lowest points they manage to still shine, unlike other acts that rose out of the 90s. We Are The Night I like a bit more than Push The Button, which was my first album I ever got. I was hoping post-Further, they would focus more on a noisier-shoegaze inspired sound on the followup. New album is average at first, the magic comes from the non-single tracks.
They'll appear later on the playlist too but Asleep From Day is CB's first appearance on my summertime playlist, with a nice midday nap, http://dozensofdonuts.blogspot.com/2016/05/the-summer-day-mix-afternoon.html
Apart from "Go" and "Reflexion" nothing excites me on the new album, I'm afraid. And the collaboration I've been hoping for since my teens (CB and Beck) sounds like a weak cover of a subpar Hot Chip song. Oh well. :-/
