I actually adore this album. It may not be their absolute best, but some of these songs are incredibly moving and I love that. Love Linkin Park and all their musical styles! [which, yes, goes for their newer ones too FYI] ♥
I have difficulty understanding what there is to dislike about this album. 'Given Up' is heavy as fuck, 'Bleed It Out', 'What I've Done' and 'No More Sorrow' are great tracks, 'Leave Out All the Rest' and 'Shadow of the Day' are great more ballady tracks. There's something here for everyone.
"exciting? a thousand shits makes you go to sleep xD boring, too much pro tools on it... and who sings? shinoda and chester? or a pair of transformers?"
lol are you talking about the album being overproduced? you can't have too much of a program. as to the vocals comment, the only one where vocals are noticeably distorted (and by noticeably, I mean where the vocals differ from live) is The Catalyst. The excitement and pacing of the album might not be on par with their other efforts, but then again, most of those other efforts have the consistency and pacing of a child with ADHD. What does that say about your music tastes?
