I Want My Own I Like Trains Dark And Noisy With Funeral Sound of Trumpet of Mark Robinson . I Don't Love Indie I Like Trains . I Love Melancholy Post-Rock I Like Trains
Thumbs up for the sweet sound of Ash's trumpet.
all their albums are pretty wonderful in their own way, period. how come ppl feel the need for a band to stick with a single genre of music for their entire career. should they feel forced to play something they don't longer feel the inspiration for? just my two cents
i feel like their old material was trying too hard to be epic post-rock/post-punk/whatever. SWANS they are not. however, the new stuff seems more 'effortless' and sounds better as a result - better suited to their inclinations, at least.
You can listen to the album "The Shallows" for a limited time via Dutch websites http://3voor12.vpro.nl/luisterpaal/albums/i-Like-Trains.html and stream / scrobble it via http://scrobble.it/luisterpaal/
Use I Like Trains if you want, but don't start telling me that iLiKETRAiNS is incorrect when I've already got the best part of 1000 Scrobbles from Progress Reform and Elegies To Lessons Learnt going back years
