Falko knows how to be awesome.
Heavy Pop Review: http://www.heavypop.at/future-of-the-left-the-peace-and-truce-of-future-of-the-left/
I reviewed all their LPs here:
new to this band but peace & truce is pretty awesome. Loving the lyrics and tempo-shifts!
"In a former life he was Ron Perlman's gas tank." :D
Not digging it. Sure I'll try again later, it's FOTL after all.
New album is super heavy, might be my favorite one so far!
adeadenemyalwayssmellsgood was my jam a few years back, still awesome
thank you internet punk.
I'm pretty sure it is called 'forest is sorry'. +falco's description of that song (a while ago on twitter..) would fit in as well...
any ideas for the name of the song at the end of Achieving Orbit? has it ever been done separate like at a gig and that.
Falco's solo project, Christian Fitness, is awesome. http://christianfitness.bandcamp.com/album/i-am-scared-of-everything-that-isnt-me
How come they haven't released Prescriptions as a single? It's one of the best things I've ever heard
@jimson and SPTxx - that makes perfect sense! that's brilliant. i'll show myself out.
A reference to the milkman shagging his mother?
an interesting rock band? unbelievable
re telephone dance. It is 'milkman's soul'. Makes perfect sense. Because of the way it doesn't make sense.
my first new band of '14. good stuff!
oh does anyone know what he says in that part of the male gaze, "I've got my father's eyes and _______?" sounds like "milkman's soul" but that can't be right ._.
ah best! best band! THE BESS!
Oh jeez thank you so much. That's a relief!
Does anyone know what Andy says in "French Lessons" in the part that goes "well I don't need _____ swimming 'round feet?" Can't find the lyrics online, and I really hope he's not saying what I think he's saying.
Superb (as ever) in Brizzle last night.
I got it figured out
Goddammit, I LOVE these people.
man, i didn't even know they were crowdfunding this jawn. Didn't hear about it until the stream. It's damn good.
Review of the new album http://www.godisinthetvzine.co.uk/2013/10/08/future-of-the-left-how-to-stop-your-brain-in-an-accident-prescriptions/
So excited to listen to it for the first time. The songs on the last album were great, but it was kind of a mess. Less than the sum of its parts, weirdly.
solid album, so much more enjoyable and Curses-esque than their last couple of releases. great job ya dummies.
The new record slays! Carry on.
Giving it a giddy first listen now...right after properly tagging the mp3 download so as not to fuck up the scrobbles...like the OCD bitch I am.
And, we should get the new album audio tonight/tomorrow...
http://www.last.fm/music/Future+of+the+Left/+images/93493781 - new photo, if you're that way inclined.
https://soundcloud.com/prescriptions-music - stream 'Bread, Cheese, Bow and Arrow'.
Kinda annoying you can't pledge to get the album, ep AND t-shirt.
Agreed. 'Cus you know, in the end everybody wins!
damn! beat me to it. anyway, go pledge. give them some fucking money!
I found some of the material on At Magnetic West and Man vs. Melody far more memorable than much of The Plot Against Common Sense - maybe they're better as an EP releasing lo-fi band.
I am ready for new songs. Bring forth!
Ok this is fucking lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLoyj9EII2U
Falco saying on Twitter that new songs are in the works. He seems pretty chuffed with them.
