• Whoever thought it was a good idea to leave in the distracting glassware noises needs to be flogged. Hearing a bunch of people eat dinner doesn't make the music better.
• I have recently published a feature article about Hiromi on TETO World Music Magazine! If you are interested in the story behind this virtuoso then click the link below for a full article. http://tetomusic.co.uk/hiromi-uehara-japan/
• JBThazard, I agree. Concentrate on those melodies lads.
• This isn't so exuberant but could I recommend this much under-heard track to people here Julie Sassoon [track artist=Julie Sassoon]Forty Four[/track] ~~ The sample doesn't do it justice -it does get going much later.
• "though the CD cover itself says Chick Corea & Hiromi." There are at least two versions of cover, and one of them clearly shows "Chick & Hiromi" (is also on the original site of Hiromi)
• I didn't mind those sounds. I actually thought it added to the atmosphere, though I can easily see why it would be interruptive. Don't blame the people who payed for dinner and a show, though, blame the sound technicians/editors.
• Exactly! Rich people scratching their knives on their plates doens't make for a good recording!
• This is a very nice album and would be even better if it wasn't for the sounds of glassware and chinking silverware made by those eating idiots!
• It says "Chick & Hiromi" on the album I got.
• THEY ARE GREAT
