My favorite Can record. There was a time about ten years ago where I'd listen to this every day around the same time. That time was right around sunrise, so to this day I associate Future Days -- particularly "Bel Air," my favorite song on the album and indeed my favorite Can track -- with the first rays of light of the morning.
This album is incredible, but unfortunately, it cannot be appreciated completely until you pay full attention to it. There are so many incredible details here that are pretty much hidden until you listen to it intently.
I still believe that this album can't be made better by any means. I can't really listen to it in my car because I have to focus all my attention on the music. In my eyes (or ears) it is a perfect album. Oh and I just want to add that drugs are not my reason for adoring this album.
if i say 'tago mago ege bamyasi future days' i will get 1000 free hipster points thats why i usually say 'mother sky,' or 'loop playing mother sky' and 'caine mutiny & the kallisti apples of nonsense,' but never apart
