It's about colonialism, people. Dusk is upon us, and the aboriginals are closing in, coordinating their movements with some call and response on their didgeridoos. The natives are no longer playing for your amusement; they're playing for their own. What's unknown is exotic and charming in the daylight, but it's sinister once the sun goes down. Civilization is slipping away as the sun recedes, and out in the bush, without artificial illumination, we can't call it back for the night. (Either that, or Eno dragged a couple humpback whales onto the beach and recorded their most plaintive calls. And though I can see aesthetic value justifying quite a bit of morally questionable behavior, intentionally beaching whales is, perhaps, a bit much.)

One thing about old egg Eno - he writes everything in his album credits. The back cover of Another Green World is a blueprint, how-to for record making. Nice of him.
