  • When did this become '7 Kettles' ?! [2]
  • kettles are my favourite instrument
  • bro this song is not so good. takes a while to make tea, so what.
  • I just noticed the boiling kettles during the song! The details, man!
  • well, I closed my eyes and nothing changed...
  • beautiful track
  • the song that gets in the way to an otherwise great album.
  • profound lyrics
  • Tea's up
  • I've been thinking about this song a lot over the past week and how it relates right now to my life. I think I really get it now, bu t it might be yet another tired theory sparked by my want for a woman I can't have. What's stopping the pot from boiling isn't the fact that it's being looked at. It's the anticipation. That's why nothing ever changes, because even when you close your eyes you're still actively thinking about it... you're still wanting and longing for the change to happen. My unrequited longing is the pot of water and when I try to get over it I don't fully remove myself from it. I still see her and I still have that want triggered. So it just gets hotter and hotter and my want becomes more and more passionate. I'm waiting for some unspecified point in the future where I can not feel like this, but I don't know when. I guess he's right. Gotta give it time.
  • When did this become '7 Kettles' ?!
  • Weakest track in the album, perhaps of their entire career so far... still passable.
  • lol any band who deviates from the three chord formula will be called pretentious. Without "pretentious" bands music would be so boring.
  • hell yeah! amazing live band
  • Just a great band
  • they criticize it because it's more pretentious crap from a pretentious band.
  • baroque to the mind.
  • Just a great band
  • Just like a seed down in the soil... you gotta give it time.
  • This album and The Suburbs are among my most-listened to albums of this millennium. Not a weak track on either one.
  • Mit leisem Wispern Blatt um Blatt/Fällt's aus der Buchen welker Kron
  • Will never get why some people badly criticise this track, it’s gorgeous….
  • The best song on the album.
  • voz de lloronsito
  • !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • "It's not a lover I want no more. It's not heaven I'm pinning for." amazing.
  • Unspeakably beautiful~
  • Who and The Strokes fan of the band there?
  • Som diferenciado.O uso de instrumentos pouco comuns ao rock, dão um toque especial.
  • @igludsss - same here but I'd rather fuck my crying eyes out...
  • this music is so amazing....
  • "They say a watched pot won't ever boil, well I closed my eyes and nothin' changed, just some water getting hotter in the flames."
  • I like the lyrics.
  • <3
  • "My eyes are covered by the hands of my unborn kids, but my heart keeps watchin’ through the skin of my eyelids."
  • Great song
  • This is so beautiful. I can't help but crying.
  • Reminds me British Sea Power *-*
  • they were amazing at coachella
  • This may be in my top 3 of Arcade FIre songs ever. To say this is weak is to say that George Washington is not on the dollar bill.
  • Very relaxing and amazing ending
  • kinda underrated [2] very much so, this is simply brilliant
  • Weakest on the album, really? Lay down with your eyes closed, listen to Rebellion and Laika (which are still both great songs), then listen to this doing the same thing. You will realize that this song is much deeper than both! In my opinion (which this whole comment is), Win displays some of his strongest songwriting abilities here. Keep loving this album please people, we gotta save the music for the generations to come, it keeps us together. Cheers!
  • kinda underrated
  • boring. Don't make excuses for this.
  • "The weakest song on the album, imo." implying there are any weak songs on that album??? Srsrly the string arrangement is perfect.
  • reminds me a lot of sigur ros..
  • It goes straight to the heart of a nostalgic soul. Heartbreaking, indeed.
  • Never listened to this song without wanting to cry my fucking eyes out.
  • So fucking relaxing and amazing song. People who doesn't get this is clearly retarded.
