Beatz is the first magazine based in the UK dedicated to Asian and Asian-inspired music, and the first issue will be available tomorrow FOR FREE in PDF format (details on obtaining a hard copy will come within the next couple of weeks; there were problems with their publishers - the cost is to be confirmed). Since it's the first issue, the BeatzUK team want to know what everyone thinks, and you can contact them via http://www.myspace.com/beatzukmagazine So what can you look forward to in beatz UK magazine Issue 1? - We interview FACT about their album, recent UK tour and that car crash. - We speak to TOSHI (X-Japan) about his side project, TOSHI with T-EARTH. - Tadahisa Yoshida talks to us about his music, LA and scones. - We also interview SAI and Uzuhi. - Reviews of albums/singles: Including ChthoniC, Abingdon Boys School, D'espairsray, 12012 and Girugamesh. - Live review of Miyavi's long awaited return to London. - A review of COMPLETE discography of DIR EN GREY.

You know, J-rock is tagged that way because in Japan they are tagged as J-rock to distinguish it from non-Japanese rock. They do that with pop too.
