Welcome to therealmusic.net, a place where truly gifted artists have a chance to shine. We will review a multitude of bands from the past and present to bring you the excellent music today's media tends to neglect. We hope to bring you your new favorite bands and broaden your musical horizons to the music available out there today. You will also find a forum in which we hope to create a community of music lovers but also a place to share your new discoveries.



The Real Music was started in May 2012 by Francois Declercq. The site aims to become a community where often overlooked music is put on the frontline. Each writer will share his/her musical discoveries in order to promote and share the music they love. Since the lauch of the website, three writers have joined the team. There's B.W. Everett, a music aficionado from Knoxville, Tennessee, the Finn S. Holm and his noise and drone penchants and finally Slojam from Leeds, whose funky African roots are sure to shine.



Overall, you will find positive reviews of bands we, as individual writer, believe deserve a greater place in the music scene. We do not believe in writing reviews simply to discredit artists. We aim to create a feel good community with short but concise content, so you the reader is not overloaded with information. Also, please feel free to contact us with any comments or suggestions in the comment section below. May your music be true.
