Plastic Tree es una banda con más de 10 años de trayectoria, su música comenzó siendo fuertemente influenciada por bandas británicas como Radiohead y The cure, sin embargo su estilo musical es algo que está en permanente evolución, cambiando desde rock hasta pop constantemente. Pero lo que hace de su música algo tan particular son sin duda las letras, en las que temas como la melancolía, los sueños, la oscuridad o la soledad son muy recurrentes, lo que sumado a la suave voz de Ryutaro hace de sus canciones algo único.
