dtzortzis: As long as mocp-scrobbler uses old protocol, not really. I'd add support for the new protocol, but I lost interest in it since I'm not really using last.fm anymore. Anyone is free to fork it and extend it ;)

I'll just remind that there is mocp-scrobbler for Python3: https://github.com/fluxid/mocp-scrobbler/ (recently updated. branch py3 was merged into master and removed. I deleted previous comment)

great music player, unfortunatly i have the same problem that eleventhcrane, my mocp has stopped scrobbling... i've used to scrobbling with the "OnSongChange" option and the lastfmsubmitd daemon, but it seems it work no more. i've tried a lot of things but nothing worked, i've also tried Fluxid's script but when i do execute it, i've got some errors, maybe i am doing something wrong...

@jinnstar Awesome/thanks! Moc had stopped scrobbling in May this year after my buntu update, and I had tried several different things to get it to start working again. I'm part of the internet again!

    Hi, everybody!

Some time ago I created last.fm submitting script for MOC. Yesterday i fixed it a little and uploaded to github here: http://github.com/fluxid/mocp-scrobbler It supports "now playing" notifications, scrobbling on 90% of track, submitting looped tracks, cache/offline mode, partial support of internet streams... :) (It should appear on build.last.fm soon too) Hope you like it.

scrobbling from MoC to last.fm installed this lastfmsubmitd from debian's apt-get. You can also get it here: http://www.red-bean.com/decklin/lastfmsubmitd/ added this to ~/.moc/config: OnSongChange = "/usr/lib/lastfmsubmitd/lastfmsubmit --artist %a --title %t --length %d --album %b" added lastfm login info to: /etc/lastfmsubmitd.conf That's it!
