there's more to life than being an internet music geek. let's look at the sky for 5 minutes each day and talk about that instead.

I was outside the tonight and I looked up at the overcast night sky. A raindrop fell on my face. It felt like a poem.

I'll never see another view that could measure up to it.

I flew over London at night recently and I may as well never look out of a window again.

The sky was almost yellow after a short rain today.

Well, being sane and alive it's almost the same thing here. I just got used to it.

Only builders on your way home? Consider yourself extremely lucky. I dodge pickpockets, amazingly reckless drivers, and tons of dog shit on a daily basis.

I should check in here more often - 'I don't mind mountains but they block the view' is an incredibly evocative line. Especially when my house is surrounded by foul-mouthed and procrastinating builders on all sides and I can't relax unless all my blinds are pulled down.

Every morning I look at the barred window in my studio and can't help thinking how long is it until December 10

3 members! Time to get things rolling. The window I most frequently stare through for 5 minutes a day overlooks some badly cared for gardens and 1930s era terraced houses painted white. My fondest recent memory of looking out a window was when my cat went missing for two days and I'd begun to fear the worst - the sight of his face appearing at my window brought on a sense of joy and relief that has rarely been matched, before or since. If you have similar window tales to tell, this is the place.
