Last.fm + youtube = pure music tv goodness. Find it here. Become a member to receive updates and do some feature requests.

What happens when you combine two amazing online services?
Well, it might look something like this.

Welcome to lasttube,
a very lousy project name for a nice mashup of last.fm and youtube. It's best described as an online music television based on your music preferences.

Nice! But how does this work?
Well, it's actually quite simple. You just point your browser towards http://tv.timbormans.com/, enter a last.fm username or music artist and start watching. Then there is some funky coding stuff going on and seconds later you are watching the music channel of your choice. Now ain't that sweet?

So that's it?
That depends, this started as just an experiment, and it will probably stay that way. But if you feel like the project could need some improvements, just give a shout in the Forum and I'll see what I can do.

Okay, so how do I keep posted?
Just subscribe and you'll receive a message with each important update.

    It's possible to scrobble lasttube, but it's not automatic and a bit complicated (3 to 7 mouseclicks is too hard for many). While using lasttube click "Watch on Youtube" button (bottom right corner). It'll get you to regular youtube window.     @ Scrobble from Youtube is always possible, but not from this site lasttube. For Google Chrome search for the apps: "Chrome Scrobbler or Last.fm scrobbler" and install them. For Firefox & Opera search for last.fm in the add-ons, it's also possible. The Youtube video song title has to be in the format <'Artist" - 'Song title'> so as the scrobble to be recognised from the app and transferred to your last.fm account - Neue.

    Very very nice tool. Any chance to put a plug-in for personalised scrobbling? I know it takes a lot of work, I was just wondering if it's possible.

    Really nice work, but... I have some thinks, I´m not so happy about: songs and artists are repeating often, than I would like to. I´ve scrobbled more than 1000 artist, but there is cycling just about 20 artists. Another thing - sometimes plays different artist than described. And if you will work on scrobbling, I will really appreciate it :) Anyway, nice work and I´m gonna use it!
