The group for those who pay close attention to the song's music, more then to the lyrics, at least in particualr songs/band/album.

if you like more the lyrics then go to this...

You don't care about lyrics?
Maybe you sometimes listen to songs which fit to your present situation (like listening to christmas songs in decembre or to lullabies at night), but in general, it's the music that makes you happy and you are absolutely not interested in what they are singing?
Then THIS is the group for you! (by Foxman)

Lyrics are for people who need everything spelled out for them. [2]

The music is more important to me but I can also fall in love with a song/artist because of the lyrics, so I'm a bit of both :) but the music really comes first

I think this ties in with my dislike for picking art apart and trying to decode some hidden meaning. I'd rather most things just have inexplicable aesthetic appeal. Although being a musician is probably also part of the reason I'm fixated on that part. But now I just sound elitist.

well, i usually pay attention to what is being sung out, but it's still all about the sound. if it would be all about the lyrics, they could as well just read : P

I strongly agree with the message of this group. I am also happy to see Queen and Porcupine Tree in the charts. But Green Day on the other hand...

It really saddens me to know that most "music" fans only care about the words. Spoken language is too dull and contrived to really accurately communicate the abstract kinds of feelings and sensations that music (in any genre, with or without vocals) can.

For me, it's all about the music, but not because I think lyrics are unimportant. I just don't understand them :) It doesn't matter if lyrics are in English or in my language - even if I know all those words, they mean nothing when they're together. So I'm enjoying only the sound of the songs. I still hope I'm not alone and someone understands what I'm talking about :)

Lyrics can be fun, but if they are with lame music, it dosent worth it. :P

I'm glad to see Dillinger Escape Plan in the chars - they are a perfect example of a band with technical prowess which cannot be expressed into words or lyrics.

Well, I'm interested in the lyrics as well but most important thing for me is the music =)
