in something?
in a goddess/god?
in aliens?
in a higher power?
that there's a plan?
that the truth is out there?

a group for those wondering if there's more than...

i'm glad you've found this page.


'i want to believe' is for last.fm members who want to believe in something, who may believe in something, who maybe grew up believing something they now question; it's a group for intelligent and kinda 'out there' exchanges and it's a group for voicing opinions and thoughts about our shared universe, as well as being a forum to ask questions.

this isn't a religious group though faith will certainly be discussed; all faiths/religions are welcome and different opinions/views are appreciated.

i put this picture up 'cause basically it's a beautiful one and kinda makes visual a few of my beliefs/thoughts/questions with the huge open sky and curving horizon.

i am open to changing the picture now and again in an attempt to represent more of our beliefs/thoughts/questions.

At 3:30 08.08.08 tanks of the Georgian armies have entered the city of Tskhinvali, the capital of the South Ossetian Republic. Whole city was shelling by heavy artillery all day long, there were fights with use of tanks and heavy munition, which were used against both ossetic militia and non-combatants. 2000 civillians were killed during Georgian attack. Russian peacemakers have arrived to South Ossetia in the evening of 08.08.08 for settlement of the conflict and peace conduction in republic and protection of Russian citizens, living on territory of South Ossetia (approx. 80% of South Ossetian population).
