Chirpinhard85 Deerhunter isn't "shit gaze" at all to begin with. Halcyon digest is a mixture of baroque pop and psychedelic rock. Their previous efforts show obvious influence's ranging everywhere from post punk to kraut rock. Aside from maybe "Turn It Up Faggot", the production value on all of their releases has been very easy to listen to. Therefore, they are not shit gaze because they do not sound like shit.
