You can now post upcoming shows on last.fm. The site will automatically link up the show and the bands involved if they've been played at least a few times here.

Bands can also upload their songs to the last.fm server for airplay on the site. Choosing a variety of tags for your band will help create interest, i would think.

Last.fm members can now listen to Joon, Crayons and myself. i'm sure many other local bands will be uploading their songs soon.
